L.A. as a Tourist

When I landed in Los Angeles on Wednesday, it was probably at the most inconvenient time. My host picked me up from the airport and showed me all the touristy spots while we waited for traffic to clear (and there was still congestion at 9:30 p.m.). The only money we spent was on parking (which probably would cost around $24 for visiting La Brea Tar Pits, Hollywood and the Santa Monica Pier) and on dinner. It was a great evening!
